Pearls are made by oysters and mussels as a natural defense mechanism against a menace like a parasite entering their shell or causing damage to their fragile body. 

The oyster or mussel slowly secretes layers of materials that alchemize a material known as mother-of-pearl. This material encases the hazard, protecting themself from the threat while creating a beautiful gem. 

Much like pearls, many of the world's top athletes and entertainers have not only overcome significant adversity but have allowed it to inspire growth and motivate them to become exactly who they’re destined to be. Pearls are very unique. They come in many shapes and sizes and come from different countries and backgrounds much like our clients we represent. Pearls are the jewels of the ocean, and our clients, the gems of the entertainment industry.

Stacey Leawood is an NBA Certified player agent and in the 2022-23 season was just 1 of 5 women in the world representing an active NBA player. From Newfoundland but based in Toronto, Canada, she provides athletic representation to athletes around the globe. Her prior work experience includes direct-to-consumer sales and marketing for several Fortune 500 companies and experience in the professional basketball industry, including both front office and coaching experience.
